Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

Hey You...Get Back to Work!

Not you -- that's for me.

Please feel free to ignore this post. This is my weekend to-do list. It is posted here to remind me that I have no business blogging (in the event that my constitution gets weak and I come slinking back).

■ plan next week's menu
■ grocery shop
■ plan menu for wedding shower *I hope* to be hosting on Saturday
■ create keepsake cookbook for the wedding shower *I hope* to be hosting on Saturday
■ create parts of the St. George and Leif Ericson costumes that we don't have (namely everything but the helmets and swords -- ugh!)
■ bake snacks for Halloween get-together on Monday
■ write and mail this week's letters to "Komen product" corporations
■ work on the quilt that has been haunting me for months (just 30 minutes a day, just 30 minutes a day, just 30 minutes a day)
■ clean my house
■ do laundry
■ iron a week's worth of shirts and pants

Alrighty then. That should be about enough to guilt me into staying away from the computer.

Have a great weekend!!

  1. I had my own to-do list, but by 10 am it is almost finished (I kept it managable):

finish robes for costumes for St. Sebastian and St. Stephen

    iron pile of clothes

    change sheets on 7 beds

find when Mass is tomorrow (9:15)

Good luck in whittling down your list. Now, get back to work!

  2. Can you post to OEL about Komen and what products to boycott when you have a chance? I had never heard this before and would like to join in with some letter writing of my own.

  3. Oy, you know how to quilt, I'm so jealous. :)

Aren't to do lists great? I feel all purged when I make one, almost like I've actually gotten the stuff done! :)
