Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

My Assumption Baby

My Assumption baby -- from two days old, getting his first bath from his Mimi (my mom) with his oldest brother watching in wonder, to 19 years old and starting college in two days...where did the years go? Gone in a flash.

His birth story, short and sweet, but with good memories, can be read here.

  1. Happy Birthday to your Assumption Baby, who is not so much a baby anymore!

My sister was born on the 15th too, and can you guess her name? Yep! Mary.

Because I was sooo old when I was pregnant with Peter, they wanted me to deliver by 40 weeks. So we got to pick which day I was to be induced. I picked the 14th, the feast of St. Maximillian Kolbe, just so he could have his own birthday, plus I think St. Kolbe is one cool saint!
