Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Kelly needs CARE

Kelly from The Careless Catholic is in the hospital with bleeding. Baby girl is 30 weeks old and not quite ready. According to Kelly she may be there for six or seven weeks unless Baby girl has to come early due to emergency.

I want to send Kelly a CARE package to keep her spirits up. If you'd like to send a card, or a spiritual bouquet, or something else to lift her spirits, please email me or leave a comment and I'll contact you.

You know our dear friend Margaret always says, "We love our babies." Yes we do love our babies, but we also love the mamas.

  1. Oh, I just asked her to email me her hospital address so I could send her a care package--I have some necessities for the hospital (things I have learned I NEED while staying there)

I have her home address--maybe it's better to send it there and her husband can bring it to her?

  2. I had heard about that last week---I think Jessica posted it on FB---but hadn't heard anything since. it's late; I'll pray, but I'll have to think of something for her tomorrow!

  3. God bless you Barbara! What a wonderful idea!! I was planning on sending something too, in addition to lots of prayers, but I will probably just send it directly since I already have her address.

Also, did you by any chance get my last two emails? I sent them from my showerofroses gmail account, and since I hadn't heard back from you on either of them (12/8 and this morning) I started wondering if maybe they are ending up in your spam folder?

  5. I do not know Kelly and I live far away, but I would like to do a spiritual bouquet for her. I will also ask my Catholic Motherhood group to pray. What a frightening time! May God's grace give her peace and His will be done!
