Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

Dear Anonymous,

My apologies to you, dear reader, if you comment here anonymously. I have changed my settings and you can no longer use your anonymous identity to post comments. I really do feel badly for doing this, as I do so enjoy your comments, but the spammers are out and I am tired of moderating spam from pornography peddlers. It disgusts me, especially since they find some of my posts which are most vulnerable. Oh the nastiness in this world.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

  2. Mine is set so if you already have an approved comment, it goes right through, but if not, you sit in the moderation queue until I get around to checking it - maybe this week, maybe next! :-) I'm on Wordpress, though.

  3. I had an anonymous commenter who kept hijacking my comments..kept budding in every. single. time. someone commented. At first I was fine with it..then I thought to myself: "You know what? This is my blog. If they have so much to say, they can start their own blog." And that was the end of anonymous commenting on my blog. =) Sorry to hear about the creepies...yikes!

  4. Sorry to hear it. I understand. I'll use my Google profile, then. Maybe that will give me the incentive I need to change my photo! ;) --- Rosemary
