Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

Happy Birthday...

...to our Mother Church. May we always seek truth, a virtuous life, and Our Lord Jesus through thee, our faith.

"When I see that the burden is beyond my strength, I do not consider or analyze it or probe into it, but I run like a child to the Heart of Jesus and say only one word to Him: 'You can do all things.'  And then I keep silent, because I know that Jesus Himself will intervene in the matter, and as for me, instead of tormenting myself, I use that time to love Him." --St. Faustina Kowalska

"The mother of Jesus said to Him, 'They have no wine...'"

Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us.

  1. I love that quote from St. Faustina! I wish I was so disciplined that I would always turn to Jesus instead of worrying and fretting over my burden.

I appreciate your comments -- sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself!
