...to plan for summer?

A few weeks ago I started getting the first of the "resort wear" catalogs. Why do they send me these? I thought. I never go any where and I certainly never buy summer clothes in January. Most catalogs I pitch before ever opening. They are a near occasion of sin for me. If you don't have a young daughter you probably can't appreciate that. If you do, you know. Little girl clothes are just so darn cute.

And expensive.

So, it was really just silly to open the Kelly's Kids catalog. I knew the prices would keep me from ever ordering, so maybe I thought it was safe. It is safe. No big orders.

But what I saw between the pages really cheered me up. It made January cheery and maybe, if I get to the fabric store, it will make February cheery. On those pages of beautiful resort wear, I saw the same clothes I sewed for Peach last summer.
