Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Soup for Breakfast?

.

If you begin the day on Good Friday by boiling every vegetable in the house in order to create natural Easter egg dyes, your family will wake up cranky at the smell you have created before breakfast, and you will be hungry for vegetable soup.

  1. Your header photograph is beautiful!

Veg soup sound yummy! My friend made and brought over to us some native Indian food (no meat, of course) for our lunch. YUM! It was nice to have delish food after having lectored the stations . . . going back soon to begin the Divine Mercy novena.

Blessed Triduum and Easter to you and yours.

  2. Soup for breakfast sounds great to me! We are done with all of our vegetable dyes and I am so glad to get the smell of curry and vinegar out of my fridge!

  3. Good hint... if I ever am able to make natural vegetable dyes for the eggs, I will have to wait until the afternoon so at least I can put off the crankiness and possibly eat vegetable soup too. :) Have a beautiful Easter tomorrow!
