Thank you for your prayers, my friends. You are good people, indeed, keeping an eye on me.
The ultrasound revealed that while one vein is still clotted, the clot is not as close to the deep vein as it was before (and the other large superficial vein looks clear). I see the vascular surgeon on Tuesday and he will decide if I can go off of Coumadin. I still have a bit of a purple foot (not dark purple, but more blue than the other), so I won't be disappointed if he has me stay on it until both veins are completely clear.

Yeah, I'd stay on the coumadin till clots are gone...and your foot is pink again.
