Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Oh, Bother!

.
The ultrasound revealed that I have another superficial clot. To be technically correct, I should say that the other clots have grown, all the way up my leg. So the clots near my ankle that I had after my surgery in July, are now near my groin and are very close to the deep vein. The two superficial veins in my leg are completely clotted.

I left the hospital ultrasound department and went to the drug store to pick up my Lovenox and Coumadin. I'm not very happy about giving myself injections, or about the side effects of these drugs, but nobody died, so I am grateful.

I'll pray for you if you'll pray for me.

  4. Oh, Barbara, I'm sorry. My good friend Sarah, just had a baby and is on Coumadin, she, too, hates those shots!! I, being diabetic, take 4 shots a day...but I think yours bruise easily and might be bigger suringes? I've been doing it since I was 10 though, so it's second nature now.

Prayers for that darn clot to dissolve!
