I didn't find very many activities this week for the saint feast days -- October certainly is a busy month for feast days, isn't it? If I find anything else, I'll update.
This Sunday's Gospel (October 12, 2008) is the parable of the wedding banquet for the king's son and the Kingdom of Heaven.

October 15 -- St. Teresa of Avila, also known as St. Teresa of Jesus
Patron: sickness; against headaches; against heart disease; lacemakers; loss of parents; opposition of Church authorities; those in need of grace; religious; those ridiculed for their piety; Spain

● Prepare some Spanish bread, or maybe some Flan (it's easier than it looks).
I was not able to find much for children on St. Teresa of Avila, but as a doctor of the Church, she is an important figure to know.
October 16 - St. Margaret Mary of Alacoque
