Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Fire Therapy

His:

Hers:

My husband does much thinking outside around a fire.

I do much of mine at the kitchen sink.

I would love to do my thinking at the kitchen sink, but my house is too noisy. Alas, the only quiet pondering time I get is either early morning or at night in the shower.

We moms have to take in when and where we can.

  2. Meg,
It gets real quiet in my kitchen when there are dirty dishes to be found. My kids vamoose lest they be dragged into washing duty!

LOVE THIS! Except for the snow...these pictures could have been taken at my house!

  5. i like your style too, barb!
at first glance i was thinking your "fire" probably smells better.
but then i kind of like the smoky smell of a good burnt log.
so i guess your smell is definitely the sweeter of the two and i am sure that it is much warmer and cozier where you're at!

btw. thanks for the mention of a good steak...now i can't get it out of MY mind!
