Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Easter week catch up

Just catching my breath from the whirlwind of last week and the weekend. Don't you find that the longer the whirlwind lasts, the longer it takes to recover? I also either picked up a bug or got a "taste" of food poisoning and spent most of yesterday on the sofa either sleeping or knitting and watching last season and this season's episodes of Bletchley Circle -- another British series, this one a 1950s-ish crime solver mystery featuring four women who were formerly code breakers for the British army. It's good. Too bad there are only three episodes in a series.

Here is a short video of Taylor being Confirmed at the Vigil. Note the Latin prayer being sung.

Easter morning at my mother's home...Faith and my mom

The rest of the gang, just relaxing after brunch. (My mom photo bombing on accident)

Easter decorations.

Oh, Mr. Bunny, you look so dapper.

The bunny pitcher which the kids fight over using so they can make the bunny vomit pour water.

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny carrying the eggs.

This year I didn't think we would have any decorations. I could not find the box anywhere. I looked and looked and could not find them. I almost accused my husband of disposing of them (whoops!). Good thing I didn't because I finally found them, with a ceramic ghost sitting in the top of the box on top of all of the paper-wrapped bunnies. It was disguised as a Halloween box.

One of the Easter dinner tables.

A pretty new table with some pretty new books, and an old dish of old rosaries. Hmm, there is even something blue there, but nothing borrowed. {wink}

The Lamb, the King. He is risen!

Happy Easter Week.

    Your decorations are pretty. Glad they didn't get tossed! I accidentally had a real egg get packed with my decorations one year and when we opened the box...P.U.!

  3. Oh Christine, I laughed out loud at the image of you finding a stinky egg in the Easter decorations. I can just imagine.

    Hope your stuffy nose goes away. I think it's the change of seasons and allergies.
