Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

The Young Writer's Club {week 1}

Writer's prompt: Where would you most like to live and why?

by Faith

I would love to live by the ocean. You can always make sand castles and play in the water. And every morning you can look outside and the sunrise makes a reflection on the beautiful misty ocean water.

Editor's note: Faith was very excited at the prospect of this writer's club. I am hopeful that each week I might get a few more sentences out of her. :-)

  1. Oh Faith, I would love to leave next to the ocean. I am going to Florida for a couple weeks in March. I can't wait. We're going to stay in a condo on the beach while my husband works. I think it will be wonderful.

  2. I'm impressed you spelled 'beautiful' correctly! :-) I love your picture and your story, and maybe you and Meggie can visit. She wants to live UNDER the ocean, but I bet she'd like to visit you on the shore sometimes, and perhaps you'd like to go diving with her. Thanks for contributing, Faith!

  4. Jennie,
    I almost always get 100% on my spelling tests!
    I bet if Meggie wants to live under the sea, she'd be a mermaid!

  5. Faith did a great job writing and drawing her answer. The ocean sounds like a very peaceful place to live.

  6. Faith, I agree completely, especially about the sunrise off of the misty (nice adjective use!) ocean water. I love your art, too! The sandcastle, the dolphin, and the sun bouncing off of the water show great attention to detail. Good work!
