Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

drat! drat! double drat! triple drat!

I have left comments at more than half a dozen blogs today and they have just disappeared, leaving me with the distinct feeling that I am talking to myself.

I don't even know what to say. Humph.

  1. Barbara, oh yes, this has happened to me!

  2. You can talk to me!

I'm find it very difficult to leave comments these days because a lot of the word verifications have changed and gotten much harder to read! Like yours. Takes too many tries to get it right between knowing what it says and the ol' brain/finger connection!

Aaarg, even when I think I got it right on the first try!

  3. Is it just Blogger blogs? Because I've noticed it seems to happen more with Blogger than with another host. And I agree with Sara - the word verification has gotten extremely hard to decipher! I am routinely having to take a second try each time I comment on a Blogger blog. What gives?

  4. I've been having trouble commenting on WORDPRESS blogs. Finally had to start using a non-gmail address to make the comments go through. There's a rumor going around a recipe group I'm associated with that Wordpress and Blogger are having some kind of battle and making it hard for users of the other platform to comment on theirs.
And what IS with that awful word verification? I can hardly see the words I'm to type!

  5. Hmmmm, I have to agree with the word verification system: most of the time it is difficult to read. But, for YOU I will do it!

    Love to you, dear girl.

  6. How strange! I don't actually ever go back and check to see whether my comment posted or not...usually I see it immediately, and sometimes people have to verify it...so I just forget about it and "subscribe to email" for comments.
