Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Yarning along...

...with Ginny at Small Things.

"She knits her way through the day."

"Just one more round," she says.

I am knitting this child's hoodie for Doug's nephew Nick. It's the first official Christmas knit. The yarn is Knit Picks Comfy Worsted in Jalapeno. I'm going to make a stripe or two across the middle in Silver Sage. I admit I am a little disappointed in the yarn because it is very lightweight for worsted weight yarn. It must be the added acrylic because Faith's in 100% cotton was much heavier. The nice thing is it will be more of a usable indoor sweater than an outdoor hoodie (trying not to be too disappointed).

My read is not pictured. It's next to my bed where I fight sleep each night to get a couple more pages read. Secrets of Eden by Chris Bohjalian (it's not at all boring, I just need to get to bed earlier).

  1. Dear Barbara,
That hoodie looks just lovely I like the colour, very deep and rich.
At least yhou will know where to find the book, unlike me who loves to cart it around to get a little extra reading time in
    Have a blessed week

  3. Pretty. I'm knitting ever so slowly on the wool soaker. I'm not too motivated right now. My last Milo vest was lost in the mail. =( I'm going to hunt it down starting Tuesday. My brothers want me to knit them vikinds hats..and I'm excited to begin them..but I don't know if I shoud finish the soaker first. I don't think I have enough needles to have 2 knits going at once!
