Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Big, heavy sigh

.

I posted this link on my sidebar and then I decided to post it front and center. It's a review at the WSJ for a book titled Unnatural Selection. The reviewer rightly calls out the author on her convoluted (my word, not his) point of view on the issue of abortion selected by gender -- specifically females. How can any self-proclaimed feminist not be outraged at the abortion of millions of baby girls for the simple fact that they are female babies (not to mention human babies -- but let's get real, they are feminists)? She has her reasons, but they have nothing to do with protecting innocent life. I cannot, for the life of me, wrap my mind around her perspective and I pray I never will.

  1. We had an interesting conversation about this tonight. It's interesting that abortion has basically become a sacrament to so many feminists. They seem to pay lip service to the rights of women but will die on the altar of abortion rights.
    Craziness.
