I posted this link on my sidebar and then I decided to post it front and center. It's a review at the WSJ for a book titled Unnatural Selection. The reviewer rightly calls out the author on her convoluted (my word, not his) point of view on the issue of abortion selected by gender -- specifically females. How can any self-proclaimed feminist not be outraged at the abortion of millions of baby girls for the simple fact that they are female babies (not to mention human babies -- but let's get real, they are feminists)? She has her reasons, but they have nothing to do with protecting innocent life. I cannot, for the life of me, wrap my mind around her perspective and I pray I never will.

We had an interesting conversation about this tonight. It's interesting that abortion has basically become a sacrament to so many feminists. They seem to pay lip service to the rights of women but will die on the altar of abortion rights.
