Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Mary, Helper of All in Danger, pray for those in need

.

I feel just awful for the people who are in the Louisiana flood plains bracing to lose everything they own. I know there are people who are suffering as a result of the floods upriver, but to know that the government is going to intentionally flood you out of your home is a tough one to take. I wouldn't want to be the governor of the state, nor the Army Corps of Engineers. No one down there has an easy job today.

Mother Mary pray for them. Pray for us.
