Snapshots Around the World has the view finder focused on the kitchen sink this week. My kitchen sink just happens to have some pretty new tile around it, so it was a pleasure to take a pic this morning. My natural light is not good in the back of the house because all the trees, so I needed a little help from the kitchen lights.
The new tile is a pretty glass mosaic with browns and greens and an occasional stainless steel tile, which goes well with the other stainless and polished nickel in the kitchen. It's hard to see in the dim morning light, however.
As a bonus, I took a picture out the window as well, so you could see my pretty view. I just planted those little rose trees in the bed just outside the window. They are very tiny right now, but I have high hopes that they will get enough sun there and I won't kill them.
