Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

9/52

.

52 weeks of daily life in pictures: trials and celebrations,
the extraordinary and mundane --
whatever is unique to the week.
Join me if you like.

The week started in an attempt to contain the flu to the two young patients.

It wasn't long before I fell victim myself.

This birthday boy turned 19 on Saturday.

A sweet treat brought by his sweetheart.

The wedding rosaries I spoke about.
Such a generous gift -- I felt very blessed to have a part in creating them.

 The sun came out.

A little bit of spring arrived, via the Brown man, from one of my favorite little girl shops.

A spider in the sugar shaker. Faith named him Charlie. Ugh.

The week ended with a much-awaited treat for St. David's Feast Day -- English Trifle. We enjoyed it belatedly. I'll be sure to post the recipe on my food blog.

Below you'll find a linky list because so many lovely women decided to join me in my 52 Weeks project. There are no rules (except the two below) -- if you want to start your 52 Weeks this week, go for it! I will keep the links up until next Wednesday, so you have almost a week to do it.

(1) Make sure you copy and paste the URL of your 52 Weeks blog post ( and not your main blog URL). You could also use of Flickr photo page if that's how you do things.
(2) Include a link back here in your blog post or flickr photo page.

  1. Charlie is exactly what I would name a spider in the sugar shaker. :-) Fortunately, though, we don't have a sugar shaker. Or a spider. Sugar shakers are too tame for us. We heap it on with a spoon.

  2. Hope you're feeling better now, Barbara! And the trifle looks yummy - that's one of Rob's favorite desserts!

  3. It wouldn't let me post the link because it was over 50 characters? Anyway, I don't plan on posting again until next week, so whoever clicks on it will still see the most recent which is this 52 weeks. ;)

Prayers for your recovery. Get well!!!! Love and aloha!
