Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Did You Know...
.
...that it's 22 days until the Feast of St. Nicholas?
Consider this your official reminder...now get moving!
I am slow getting started this year, Emily. Mostly because I have no ideas. Urgh.
We love St. Nicholas Day, too, Anne. It's a very big deal around here!
Jennie, We hang our stockings also. I was at World Market yesterday and saw lots of little treats which would be great for stockings. It wasn't until I left that I realized it is so close!
Sara, Hard to believe -- next week is the Feast of Christ the King, and then Advent -- in two weeks!
Haha, Nancy. I know that I do not, and I consider 22 days to be "under pressure!"
I have ONE Christmas present...I have ideas for the others...and I have an advent wreath and candles! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the feast of St. Nicholas! We go very traditional with oranges and nuts and just a bit of chocolate to sweeten things up!
ReplyDeleteWe do our stockings on St. Nick's day, and have a special breakfast of doughnuts and clementines. The children look forward to it all year. :-)
ReplyDeleteI realized yesterday that it's just around the corner! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to think I work better under pressure!
