If 4,000 dogs were thoughtlessly slaughtered each day in America, animal rights advocates would demonstrate across the country, not resting until the killings stopped.
If 4,000 children died each day from the flu, there would be public outcry for a vaccine. Parents would beg and plead for someone to save their children. Health care workers would feverishly fight for a cure. The media would report nightly.
If 4,000 people died in a hurricane one day, wailing would be heard in every corner of the country. People would cry out to the unfairness; surely someone is to blame. Millions of dollars would pour in to save the affected. For years and years people would volunteer to help the affected.
If 4,000 men, women and children were killed everyday in acts of terrorism, not one American would tolerate it. There would be cries for war against the enemy.
Yet, 4,000 unborn babies die every day in this country and millions of people turn their heads in silence. Every day. Abortion is a holocaust. It is the desperate, reckless destruction of human beings. There is no evil as great.
"It is a great poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish." -- Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

ReplyDeleteWell said!
ReplyDeleteVery true and very sad to consider.
ReplyDeleteWhile the public outcry is less, at least there are some people being vocal about the horror that is abortion and how it affects our society in ways people might not acknowledge.
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Post! I see those neglected animal ads and think people care more about animals than human beings. I was glad to read your post!
