Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Busy as Bees

.

Yes, we were. And it was a good thing to bee today. It felt lovely. The weather hasn't gone above 70 degrees today (I don't beelieve) and it feels just right to bee sitting and working at school on this last day of August.

Here's a pic of my two unsocialized, backward, dressed-in-their-pjs homeschoolers.

You should have seen the 10 pictures I took before I threatened them with homework.

Here is one of them.

Real jokers they are.

  2. Love the hilarity!
I'll just not remark on the weather. When y'all are wishing the snow would go away, I'll be salivating over your snow. I won't see snow for at least three years. I don't think anyway.
Fall is my fav time of year and HI is very consistent in weather. They say it gets in the 50's at night in the winter . . . I'll still be wearing shorts.

  3. What cute kids you've got! I think the uniforms look great too! My mother always took "first day of school" pictures of us and we didn't always look enthused. ;)

  7. Emily -- It has been. I'll take this until Thanksgiving!

Sarah -- but you have the beaches!

Ellen, Thanks. Yes, a leftover from the days when the older children went away to school. I still do it. (Maybe just to torture them.)

Renee, Thanks for your thoughts and your blessings!

Sarah, Well I don't know about the learning -- that sometimes comes under duress!

    Jamie,
I'll remember that next time and get the good one first!
