I'm enjoying your answers at the below post. I'm about ready to tell you the answer, but I'm forcing myself to hold on a little while longer. Because I'm really enjoying your answers.
In the meantime, since we're getting so personal here, have you tried this toothbrush?
Yeah, I know it's just a toothbrush, but I opened one this morning (I'm kind of neurotic about changing my toothbrush frequently) and started brushing, and it brushed me back. Very weird. A good kind of weird, but weird nevertheless.
And speaking of brushing, I recently discovered a really great toothpaste that truly, and I mean truly, whitens.
It's a little pricey, but I really don't want to do the whitening strips, so I decided to give it a whirl. I thought it was my imagination that my teeth really were getting whiter, but the dental hygienist verified that it does work. She said they all tried it at the office and were shocked. She said toothpaste generally can't whiten your teeth, but this stuff does.
So, those are my tips for the day -- the stuff women used to share under the clothesline.
Oh, and have you heard? Jennie had her baby. Can't wait to hear if it's blue or pink!

I do like the Vivid White toothpaste. Wish it would go on sale more often!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to get some Vivid White...I've been drinking more hot tea than usual...and since you change your toothbrush often...I just KNOW you ripped that stitch out and restarted...I just know it! :) Have a wonderful day, Barbara and a great weekend! My college boy is coming in this afternoon to spend the weekend at home...it's shrimp etoufee and brioche tonight! :)
ReplyDeletethe vivid white is for ME only. and the crest white strips too, although a certain teenager can sometimes be seen with one in his mouth.
ReplyDeleteand yes, i think that since you whiten your teeth and are a vigilant toothbrush-changer- you HAD to take those stitches out. now i am going to be afraid to send peach her handwarmers. what if both hands come out differently because i loose the pattern, like i did with my sunflower handwarmers?? will you still want to be my friend?
I change out my toothbrush every month - same for the whole house. I'm using Crest for sensitive teeth (a friend gave it to me to try). I don't have sensitive teeth, but she thought it might help with my sore gum around my tooth that just got a crown. It worked and I'm all better! I may try this stuff since you say it works.
ReplyDeleteJulia,
ReplyDeleteI don't normally clip coupons, but I'm keepin' my eyes open for Vivid coupons.
Cheryl,
You're good. Very good. And shrimp etoufee? You're killing me. Sigh. Give that boy lots of hugs. My college boy was supposed to be coming home but the creepin' crud went through our house this week and he really can't afford to be sick. I drove some goodies down and got a hug on Tuesday.
Regan,
I would never know unless I made them myself. ;o)
Sarah,
It really does work.
Barb...I have that toothbrush!! It is sooo weird, like you said in a good way! Kind scrubs everything that needs scrubbing, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHaven't tried the Vivid White, but I'm game...thanks for the promo!
