Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Her

.

This morning our Jill went to be with her Merciful Father.

Réquiem ætérnam dona ei Dómine; et lux perpétua lúceat ei. Requiéscat in pace. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers, my friends. A miracle on this earth was not meant to be. We will join her in heaven one day.

  1. Oh...Barb!! May God grant you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow. Jill's brief life and suffering did culminate in a miracle...one of bringing strangers closer to God in prayer!! I've been praying for this dear woman whom I only knew through your great love for her...thank you for sharing your family's suffering in the loss of this sweet girl...I will continue to pray for your entire family.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord; and may Your perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace

  6. Oh Barbara! One of the hardest things to accept, I think, is when our loving Father says "No" or "Not now". Our faith is tested in times like this to purify as in fire. You are in my prayers daily.

  18. My children, too, have been praying fervently for this dear young wife that they know only as "Jill." Were their prayers wasted? Of course not, only now their prayers will be transferred to Jill's family.

I am so very sorry, Barbara. I wish I could give you the sort of hug that only two grieving mothers can share.

One day this will all make sense. It will, and the story will be beautiful! For now though, I know, it's very hard. May Our Lady of Sorrows be your comfort and your strength in this time of trial, Barbara.

    With love & blessings,

    Margaret

  21. Dear Barb and family,
This is such a loss. God has the upper view and we the underside of His plan. You have a special angel interceding for you now. God has given her peace. May He fill your hearts with love and recall. And may joy in the memories of your dear Jill's life and strength in turmoil see you through these days ahead.
You and your family are in my prayers!

  24. Barbara,

I am sorry to hear about Jill's death. I know she meant a lot to you and your family.

My 7 year old daughter lost a Godparent too, last December when he died suddenly at the age of 53.

Rest assured that Jill will be a powerful intercessor for you, your daughter and family.

I will continue to pray for her soul.

    God Bless!
