Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

A Prayer for Jill

.
My cousin Jill is now over a month post surgery and today she will have her post surgical scan. God has blessed her with incredible ability to regain her health and retain a positive outlook. Her father, my uncle, asks that we join him in prayer for her scan today.

Father we thank You for the wonderful healing You've given Jill. We have faith that the results of today's test will show that things continue to improve and that Your plan for her continued good health is in place. Please continue to shower Jill with Your blessings so that she may get stronger each and every day. Amen.

  1. AK, I'm doing better. How 'bout you? The blood in my foot has decreased and it's not so hard to walk anymore. But, if I go too long without having it up it starts thumping. Still using the hot water bottle for twenty minutes out of every hour and still on 800 mg Motrin three times a day. Fortunately no big time anti-coag drugs for me. I go back to the doctor tomorrow. The ultrasound tech told me it's likely that those clots have been there a while and the gobs of fluid they pumped in me for three days in the hospital caused the trouble to start. I don't think they do anything longterm for superficial thrombophlebitis, but I'll see what the doctor says tomorrow. Thanks for asking and take care of you too!

  2. Barb, I take that much motrin in a day during my period. MAKE SURE you are also taking something for your stomach, to minimize the impact of the motrin, and that you take it with food!

    Praying for Jill!

  4. Ditto on the motrin. I'm sure you know to take it with a big glass of milk or something to help sooth the tummy.

Those booties are so adorable! What a great idea! I'll have to look at that link.
