Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

Woe Is Me

.
Actually, to be grammatically correct, the saying is "Woe is I."
"I" is a predicate nominative, so a subject pronoun should be used. But we're friends, right?

I spent the better part of today balancing the checkbook and paying bills. It had been a few months since I actually balanced. I know, bad girl. If pressed, I'd have to say that keeping the books is one thing I do not do well.

The first day of my Easter Week was not spent the way I would have chosen, so I'm going to try over again tomorrow. And now I'm going to go have a cup of tea. Good night, friends.

  2. I have to balance, too, though I'm usually quite good at it! I like to know exactly how much money we have because I do not like to come anywhere close to running out. :-) I, however, spent the day trying to make my computer work. It's sort of working, so I'm just going to run with it...and feel mighty disenchanted with those microsoft people. :-p
