Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

A Better Day

Today was a much better day than yesterday. I was able to run a few errands that have been bugging me and we had some friends over this afternoon for play (kids) and coffee (mommies). It was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Tomorrow is boy lunch/girl lunch day. Doug and the guys are going to get chicken wings for lunch (yuck!) and Peach and I are going for a girlie girl lunch. She hasn't decided where we will go yet. We rarely treat our kids, so it's just that -- a treat. I'm glad they are not used to such treatment, it makes it more fun to indulge. When I told Peach tonight that we were going to have girl lunch tomorrow, she squealed and squeezed me around the neck like I told her we were going to Disney World. Too cute!

I hope you're having a good Easter week. Don't forget to rejoice!
