I officially feel like I've been hit by a truck. I don't remember being this sick for quite a while. Back-to-back colds and now I actually feel like I'm getting another. I'm coughing from the last cold and now sneezing, it seems from a new cold? I have no voice, could it be a sick day? If I was a school teacher I would not go to work, so why do I feel guilty cancelling my class of two?
Last night the baby child waited until mommy stopped coughing and started sleeping, around 2 a.m., to start barfing. That's nice isn't it?
I'm headed for the sofa. I plan to drink gallons of hot tea and flush this nasty thing out.
I leave with you with one little Peach cutie. Last night after she said her prayer, she showed me how to make the Sign of the Cross.
"In the name of the Father, (she points to her forehead) on my head, where my brain is, (pause) and of the Son, (points to her sternum) on my tummy where my blood is (pause), and of the Holy Spirit, (she goes between both shoulders) on my shoulders. What's in my shoulders?"

Praying for you Barbara! We have had the same thing running through our family. Back to back colds with some stomach flu on the side. Do try to rest and see if you can do school on the couch today!
ReplyDeleteI love little children! They say the cutest things!
ReplyDeleteWe have the cold/stomach bug thing, too. No vomiting yet, but shortly after the Epiphany party the complaints began. Oh...I didn't mention that one of the children invited to our party threw up twice in the bathroom!
Fun, fun, fun! Praying for your recovery...
You poor thing. Get better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope you all start feeling better very soon. All three of my kiddies had cough/congestion crud over the Christmas break.
