Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Jill Update

I thought I'd post a little update on Jill, because so many of you are praying for her. I also found a picture, so you can put a face with your prayers. Jill, thankfully, was released from the hospital Sunday night -- after one month and one day. It's hard to believe. Almost no one stays in the hospital that long anymore -- she is a very sick girl.

She is happy to be home, and the doctors have decided that they will try to do the next round of chemo at home. So, today, she goes to the hospital for the drugs and equipment and, hopefully, comes home with two pumps, to start round two.

Thank you so much for the prayers. My uncle posted this on Jill's Caring Page the other day,
"Please continue to give thanks to God for His healing powers and ask that Jill's appetite picks up so she can continue to give her body the nourishment it needs. "

I, personally, am still asking for a miracle. God is good!

Thanks again for your powerful prayers.

  3. I don't believe it's ever wrong to hope for a miracle. As Father said at Mass today, "Our God is a God of abundance!" May He bless Jill with a return to good health.
