Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Thanks

I'm certainly not ready for Ho, Ho, Ho, and Fa, La, La. In fact, each and everytime I hear a Christmas jingle on television, I growl and mute. Urg. Why must it start so early? (I sound like the Grinch).

But, even though I'm not ready for Ho, Ho, Ho, this is really not about Santa.

Michelle
named me for the Spirit of Christmas award, which is really more about spirit than Christmas. From the award site:

"Quite simply it is those that have a generous and giving nature. Those who care about others. Those who have a kind word to say or a broad shoulder to lean on in the times that others need that. Those who display the "Spirit of Christmas."
So, I thank you Michelle. Coming from you, this is big.

And, I shall name:

Cheryl, from Time Really Does Fly

Denise, from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Exchange

Barb, from SFO Mom

Margaret, from Minnesota Mom
.
Kristen, at Small Treasures

Ladies, you can post the cute little Santa scene from the award site on your blog. I would, but Flash gives my Mac fits.

  1. Barbara, thank you.

Your blog is one of my daily must reads, and I don't mind it at all when you get "grinchy." ;) On the contrary, I am right there with you when it comes to seeing Christmas merchandise in the shops at Halloween.

    Have a blessed Monday, Sweetie.
