Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We went to St. Catharine's 5 pm Mass yesterday -- waiting for the snow to let up. Such a beautiful Mass, oh my goodness. Fr. Dan gave us a good Lenten homily and something he said made me think of this.
I haven't been to the 5pm mass there in so long. I hear the music is beautiful. Fr. Dan is a treasure, he is well-loved at St.Catharine. Speaking of Fathers, we saw Fr. Lumpe at one of the benefit dinners at St. Charles (Bethesda Healing Ministry). He looks great. Are we ever going to see each other again? ;-)
I needed to read this today. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, which is why I posted it.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. St. Josemaria Escriva is very good at reminding us of those little things that are so important.
