Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

needle & thREAD

Joining Elizabeth tonight, to catch up a tiny bit on sewing and reading.

needle and thREAD

I have a lot of projects to stitch on right now, but the project that I am spending the most time on is at the machine -- a baby quilt. I love these fabrics -- the perfect combination of pink, blue and yellow (in my opinion). It's just a random square quilt, but after making two pinwheel baby quilts, I was in the mood for random squares. They are always my favorites when I finish.

I'm not reading much right now, still trying to finish up Call The Midwife, which I have really enjoyed, I'm just so darned tired when I get under the covers at night, I generally only get a few pages read. I would like to read Jennifer Worth's other books, however.

I just love those squares. And I think they will make a sweet little quilt for a sweet little baby girl. I'll reveal for whom next week. Stay tuned...
