Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Mother of Grace

Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld - Madonna with child

"To give worthy praise to the Lord's mercy, we unite ourselves with Your Immaculate Mother, for then our hymn will be more pleasing to You, because She is chosen from among men and angels. Through Her, as through a pure crystal, Your mercy was passed on to us. Through Her, man became pleasing to God; Through Her, streams of grace flowed down upon us." (1746) --St. Faustina

  1. Hi Barbara, I read your comment over on Elisa's blog regarding her conversion story and it brought tears to my eyes too! Where do our Protestant brothers and sisters come to this conclusion "they think they know the truth about Catholics." Is it spread over the backyard fences, shared over coffee breaks or passed through cyberspace?

Sadly though, as Elisa mentions and I confirmed, many Catholics are sacramentalized not catechized. If many Catholics knew their faith, they'd never leave it.

    Blessed Mother, pray for us!
