Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Thanks for the prayers

Peach here, updating my mom's blog for her.

My mom says her blog friends are great. You're always praying for us.

My brother Geoffrey's surgery yesterday went pretty well (he had his tonsils out). My mom said the surgeon came out after 20 minutes and said there was not a drop of blood. He must be really good (the doctor, that is).

Too bad my brother doesn't think it was so great. He says it hurts a lot. I remember when I had my tonsils out and it hurt really bad and I'm a girl (my mom says girls are tough). My mom keeps asking my brother what he wants to eat, and she tells him "drink, drink, drink" about a hundred times a day.

Last night my brother's uvula swelled up really bad (that's the ding dong thing that hangs down in your throat). The doctor prescribed some steroids to help the swelling (and my mom says they make my brother grumpy).

So I'm just trying to stay out of the way. I helped my dad stack wood, and then I moved a bunch of rocks and got real muddy. Then I let Maggie out and she got muddy too. Then my mom got real grumpy.

So keep praying for us. My mom says "this is terrible timing" and I'm not sure what that means, but I know your prayers help.
