Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Santa's workshop

Besides nursing my needy patient, I had several projects to finish up (start) this week that were supposed to be wrapped and under the tree by Saturday. There were more projects than were both practical and smart under the circumstances, but thank goodness they are all finished (all except one but it's not needed until next week). There are a few that are for recipients who are readers (so I can't share all), but I can share several Instagram pics I took today.

Stella and Stewart owl, created for my son's girlfriend. Cute, cute and easy pattern to follow.

Grandma birthstone bracelet for my mom (they call her Mimi). I got the stamped disc here, but made the rest. The dangling ruby bead is the great grand.

Blue and silver shaggy earrings -- kit from here. I love, love these kits. My niece loves the Dallas Cowboys and these earrings just screamed "Dallas Cowboys."

Bracelets from here as well for more pretty girls. These are fun to make.

This hat, knit twice (for one hat) and stuffed with some cash, turned out well. Finally.

This hat, knit for my nephew and also stuffed with cash, was not so easy and I'm not recommending the pattern. But it turned out well.

This one, a balaclava for my son Geoff, was just blocked, in the knick of time. It, too, was an awful pattern and I won't link to it. The hat turned out great but the pattern needed an awful lot of filling in the blanks.

And now, it's time for Mrs. Claus to bake cookies.

  3. Your gifts are beautiful, Barbara! I, too, am still working on some knitting projects ... and I have gifts to wrap ... I don't know if I will make it, but I will be close ;-) I was hoping this week would be calmer, but it has been busy! There are always last-minute things to do, no matter how much I plan.

Hope your son is on the mend.
