Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil 4:6-7

St. Andrew Chaplet: a giveaway

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment
in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary,
at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold.
In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God!
to hear my prayer and grant my desires,
through the merits of Our Saviour Jesus Christ,
and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.

Beautiful prayer, isn't it? Prayed fifteen times a day, from November 30 -- the feast of St. Andrew -- until Christmas, it is longer than the nine-hour/day novena, but I imagine it makes it much more likely that your prayers will be heard. I'll be praying. Join me?

This little chaplet makes it easier to keep track of your prayers, and I move a little hook each time I pray. I'll give this little chaplet away on Wednesday -- November 30, and you can pray on your fingers until it arrives in the mail. Just leave your name and contact info in the comment box (please make sure I can access an email address or I won't put your name in the hat -- I will check).
