Actually, it's past dawn by a few hours, but it's very dark and rainy here and it looks like the wee hours of the morning outside.
Faith and I are headed out into the weather (I can hear it raining and blowing very hard right now which figures because we need to run out to the car in the driveway) to attend her first Latin Mass and my first in a very, very long time. Our new associate pastor has started having Low Latin Masses a few times a week, and it's within my comfort zone, in my own little parish, so we are going. I scrappled together some veils yesterday (thanks Kimberlee!), so we are stepping out in some new territory -- or old territory, as the case may be. ;-)
I'll pray for you, of course, and I'll be sure to touch base later with all the latest news, though not much is going on here, so don't get too excited.
Wow, which parish? When I'm visiting the area, I attend the Mass at Our Lady of the the Miraculous Medal. Next time I'm up in the area, I should see if you're available for coffee. Can't wait to see how this Low Mass went. I *so* want to go to a Latin Mass.
ReplyDeleteWhenever you go, PLEASE pray for my pastor! I don't have to go to a Latin Mass; I just want to go to a good Mass!
