52 weeks of daily life in pictures: trials and celebrations,
the extraordinary and mundane -- whatever is unique to the week.
Join me if you like.
This dog would like a strawberry scone.
What you do when you are stuck inside with a summer virus -- paint toenails. (Sally Hanson Sunrise, Sunset)
What you do when you are still contagious with a summer virus but don't feel so bad any more -- create a fairy tale in chalk on the front porch.
My sweetheart watering the plants.
A toad found after a day of storms.
What you do when you are no longer sick nor contagious. (Our city pool.)
Found a girlfriend. I think it's amazing how white Faith still is in July. And I really do not go overboard with sun screen. Of course, her little girlfriend is very brown.
The evening I took Faith to the pool it was breezy and cool (for July) and I thoroughly enjoyed the scent of these beautiful petunias hanging above me while I worked on some knitting.
The big kids went to the golf park, hit some balls and played putt putt. They had a good time with dad while I was at the pool with Faith.
Below you'll find a linky list for the lovely women who have decided to join me in my 52 Weeks project. There are no rules (except the two below) -- if you want to start your 52 Weeks this week, go for it! I will keep the links up until next Friday, so you have a week to do it.
(1) Make sure you copy and paste the URL of your 52 Weeks blog post ( and not your main blog URL). You could also use of Flickr photo page if that's how you do things.
(2) Include a link back here in your blog post or flickr photo page.
I truly will miss participating in these posts, Barbara. I hope to continue keeping record of our weeks—photos and journaling—in Word or something like that. It is such a valuable record but without the pressure I put upon myself with scrapbooking.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear Faith is on the mend.
Blessings to you, friend.
Sigh. I'm pretty sure I have that summer-something. I have a terrible cold. Thank goodness Andrew has a 3 day weekend.
ReplyDeleteI will miss seeing your family pictures, too, Sarah. Not to mention you! I meant to leave you a comment this week, or send a lengthier email, but I've been running all week and I'm not very good at comments on my iPhone. We will miss you a lot but hope we can still keep in touch!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you are not well, Elisa. I don't know why it is summer colds feel so much worse but they sure do! Faith had an enterovirus -- a class of viruses that polio is in. Luckily she just got a sore throat and some malaise that stayed for about a week.
