Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

It's Just That Simple

.
I found this beautiful prayer in my favorite prayer book today while I was at Mass. It's a beautiful prayer for Lent, and really, just so simple.

Mary, spouse of St. Joseph, help  me in the task of keeping house, that it may always be a work of love and that I may provide a home for those I love where they will find comfort, understanding, and love.

Teach me to find time in my daily work to think of God, to pray to Him and to give Him thanks. Help me to make work itself a prayer to God's glory. Help me to make my home and my heart another home for your Son, Jesus. Teach me to be as loving, kind, dignified and diligent as you were in your home at Nazareth. Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for me.
Amen.

  3. Anne,
It is a prayer book that was published by the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, Illinois.

I was not able to find it in a search on their catalog, but you might get it by calling. It was published in 1973.
