Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

  1. i don't know why i find it so hilarious that you are giving away the mother's rule of life...sometimes i'd like to chuck my copy into the trash!
it's because of that darn book that i fret so much about time limits. rules. etc.
not that that's a bad thing...

  3. So, you stick it to me, then? HA! I have a friend who swears by this book and I borrowed it once and thought it was "too much work" to even bother. Am I lazy? I will definitely read it this time, but I refuse to believe that what worked for others will necessarily work for me. I get ideas and try things out. I can pass it on to my future daughter-in-law . . . I have to have something to needle the poor gel with! Mahalo!

  4. Sarah -- it does have value -- many good ideas. I have read it twice and I use many of them. I admit, however, I am not quite that rigid! ;-)
