It has been such a pleasure to me to post about Our Blessed Mother each day this month. I guess by now you know that I am very devoted to Our Heavenly Mother, as she leads us to her Holy Son, Our Savior. She teaches us so much about how to live a holy life, how to live the Gospel, and how to find our own way to Her Son in heaven. We can never learn enough about her life on earth and her powerful intercession for us in heaven. She prays without ceasing.
Which leads me to the rosary giveaway. Many saints told us, when they were on earth, that the rosary is a powerful weapon. An elderly man from my parish recently called me after I placed a notice for free rosary repair in our bulletin. He had his father's rosary and it was broken, so he phoned me. He told me that he had prayed the rosary every day since 1957. He told me the rosary saved him during the Korean War, and through cancer treatment. He said it saved his life, and I have no doubt it did. That we should all have such devotion to Our Lord and his Blessed mother through the rosary -- we could surely save the world.
It's beautiful! Congratulations, Ellen!!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's beautiful Barbara! However, I'm not surprised! Your devotion to our Blessed Mother is evident in your talent for honoring her this way! I wanted to enter the giveaway...but I felt guilty because I already have two of your special rosaries! I think I'm going to find it in me to get rid of the guilt....cause I'm going for it next time you do another giveaway!!!

ReplyDeleteI meant to post and thank you but I was in the middle of planning my son's birthday party last Saturday. (He's an adorable three years old!) We had out of town family and it was just wild all last week. You know how it is.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, thank you so much, Barbara! That is an absolutely gorgeous rosary! You are so kind and so talented! I am actually quite floored that I won this lovely rosary! May God bless you always!
