Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

She's Got That Post-First-Confession Smile
. A combination of relief, joy, and ice cream sundae anticipation.
I do too, Sara. Our parish had a First Penance service back in February (for children who wouldn't have the opportunity otherwise), but they actually recommend that the children go with their families. I wanted to wait until just before her First Holy Communion so that she understands that one should always come before the other!
Congratulations to your girl...there's nothing quite like the feeling after confession! I can't keep Abigail away (nor would I want to!)...she goes nearly every single week, she loves it so much! Her mother would do well to emulate her devotion...
Congratulations! We had our first Confession back in January---I like the week before better.
