Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Just a Little Sass

Getting back to the lesson in progress after a phone call from dad this morning, I asked Faith, "Where is your math book?"

"I don't know," she replied.

"That's not a very good answer," I said.

"It's the only one I've got."

At least she's quick.

    sometimes honesty hurts, doesn't it?
    i guess a little honest sass never hurt anyone.
    but i'd have a tough time with that one.
    i'd probably "overreact".
    as my teen has become fond of telling me lately.....
    *sigh*
