Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Teacher's choice
. .
Red pencil or red pen for grading papers? Or do you chose not to traumatize your students with red, and instead chose a cheery color, like purple?
I have a host of coloured pens . . . I try to use a contrasting colour so they can see what needs correction and/or my comments, which I pepper with good and constructive words. I can't believe anyone would be traumatized by the colour red. :)
Ahahaha! I wish I was more flexible but I honestly can never find my red pencil. I did buy some specifically for me but my art loving child insists they work better than her red colored pencil (I haven't figured that one out) and the two year old boy will walk off with anything that writes.
Honestly, I use whatever is available that isn't the same thing they used. Red pencil, black sharpie, cadet blue crayon... whatever is available. :)
ReplyDeletei am a red pencil girl.
ReplyDeletei bought a whole new pack of 'em before school started.
they make me feel like a REAL teacher.
Theresa, You're so flexible. I admit I am fairly rigid and will turn the table over to find a red pencil!
ReplyDeleteRegan, Of course you are, my soul sister.
ha, i dont grade the papers. are you supposed to do that?

ReplyDeletePurple and pink make me happy when I'm checking a crummy worksheet. I don't know how they make my kids feel.
