Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Our Lady of Sorrows Chaplet
.
Next Tuesday, September 15, is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. In honor, I will give away one of my chaplets. Leave a comment here by next Monday at midnight and I'll put you in the drawing.
Whether I receive the chaplet or not, I'm continually amazed at the riches of the Church. As a family of converts from the stripped-down, iconoclastic world of "reformed" Protestantism, (all of us came in at Easter Vigil this year) my husband, children and I are continually amazed at the wealth of devotions available to believers!
Now, as much as I'd like to win one, I'd rather BUY one from you. I ordered parts and made one, had my fav Dominican priest bless it and gave it to a very dear friend of mine for a "moving away" (that was us moving) gift. SO, if I don't win, I'd love to pay you to make me one. Here's my email again so we can work out the details (Sarahs.Journey(at)yahoo.com). I'm certainly enjoying the St. Michael's Chaplet you made - very much so!!!!
My mum is sending me money to buy and make seven rosaries for her Marian group . . . pray for me to have a steady hand when I do make them (you have more skill than I do bending those pins, trust me).
Woohoo! I was just introduced to this meditation last year and it's so beautiful in such a humbling way. Thanks for the chance to enter!
ReplyDeleteOoh, pick me, pick me! :-)
