Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Poor Pics, Happy Wishes

.

Bill Reitemeyer is celebrating his 41 st birthday today (sweet young thing!). His wife, the Saint, asked for special wishes for him while he covers our behinds in Iraq (whoops -- Afghanistan). Why, I'd do just about anything for a soldier (especially a sweet young thing...what do you mean they are all younger than me?), so here you go, Bill.

We lit a candle in church (I know the pictures are bad, it's a cell phone) in front of St. Joseph. It will burn for seven days Bill, so if you have to do anything, like, dangerous, this week is your window.

And here's the toast. To you Bill. We're thinking of you and we thank you for your great service.
Happy Birthday! Just so you know, that's a Gin and Tonic in my hand and a Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold in Doug's (I know you're a beer man). And yes, he is wearing black socks and loafers with shorts. He dresses like an old man sometimes (What do you mean he is an old man? He's the young looking one!).

  2. Barb, you are awesome. Thanks!

BTW, he's in Afghanistan. Oh, and I am really glad you lit a candle because he's been traveling this past week and is still "on the road" and that makes me real nervous. He should be "home" to base camp before your candle goes out.
