My Mother, the Martyr

The other day Peach made the discovery that her Mimi (my mom) is going with us on vacation. She was so shocked, although I don't know why because my mom hangs out with us a lot.

She said excitedly, "Mimi, I didn't know you were coming on a trip with us."

And my mom, only half jokingly, said, "Well, if I don't come, who will do the dishes?"
