.
This morning I routed directions from our vacation destination to the closest hospital. Am I pessimistic? I say prepared! You know it never rains when you take your umbrella.
P.S. If you're headed out on a road trip, I highly recommend AAA direction service. You don't need to be a member. Just put in your starting place and ending place and download detailed directions. I much prefer it to Mapquest, Yahoo maps and even Rand McNally.
.
I hadn't thought of looking for the hospitals along the way. Thanks for the good advice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the advice on using AAA as opposed to other direction services. I always get terrible directions from Mapquest, so I will be giving it a shot in the near future.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Thomas
Is there a difference between pessimistic and enviably organized? If so, I think you fall in the latter category.
ReplyDeletePS. Some day when you're playing with your template, change your link color. It's awfully hard to see, at least on my computer.
PPS. And aren't I bossy to my adopted older sis?
Ellen,
ReplyDeleteA good friend went on vacation recently and fell down a flight of stairs, broke her ankle and had to find a hospital at night in the rain. It was a painful nightmare. I learn from others. ;-)
Thomas,
I've gotten bum directions from Mapquest, too. Live and learn.
Ok, bossy Minnesota Maggie, I changed the color. Better? Truly, it looked dark green on my monitor. I'm glad you said something.
Signed, truly pessimistic, not enviably organized.
It's better.
ReplyDeleteI do like the idea of dark green. How about you bold the text as well? (Still being bossy, I know, but it's what I do sometimes.)
She's too bossy--Mags hasn't even changed her header picture in over a year, don't listen to her!
ReplyDeletehaha, you both know I'm kidding right? :)
I hope you have a great vacation, I wish I was that organized, great idea!
that is so funny. i have never done that but it is a great idea.

Maybe it goes with the name...I am a pessimist in that regard myself. Hope you have a great (and safe) vacation!
