Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Necklace Giveaway

.

In honor of St. Martha's Feast Day on July 29, I am going to give this pretty little necklace to one of you lovely readers. It is sterling silver with glass beads and a Regina Poloniae (Our Lady of Czestochowa) medal. It has a sterling lobster clasp. I've owned this beautiful medal for several years, and even made it into a different necklace, but I just don't ever wear anything except my small miraculous medal and crucifix. Our Blessed Mother should be appreciated, not lay in a drawer.

If you would like your name to go in the hat, leave your name at this post (and if your name doesn't link to you, your email address). Your name will go into the hat twice if you email me (scmom @ columbus dot rr dot com) to correctly tell me whose image you think is on the reverse of Our Lady's.

  1. Oh my goodness, my mother would love this. She is very Catholic :) and probably would love to wear it since she has suffered the loss of my dad in Feb. on Valentine's Day and her own mother right before this Easter-she's been having masses said for them on a regular basis but I know this is something that would bring her comfort too. Have a great weekend!

  2. I would so love to be thrown into the hat for this one! Our dear adopted Grandma is a Martha...she is also my eldest son's Godmother and his baptismal anniversary is on the Feast of St. Martha...
